Meet Dr. Judith Ogweno

Empowering Educators, Parents & Youth for Over 30 Years

My mission is to empower educators, parents, and young people to reach their full potential through transformational leadership, evidence-based training, and practical wisdom that creates lasting change.

For over three decades, I have dedicated my life to educational excellence and leadership development. My journey began in the classrooms of Kenya and has taken me to international stages in Dubai, California, Singapore, and South Africa—all driven by one passion: transforming lives through education.

With a Doctorate in Educational Administration from the University of Nairobi and advanced certifications from Harvard Business School, I bring world-class expertise combined with deep, practical experience. As a Senior Teacher and School Chaplain at State House Girls High School, I’ve witnessed firsthand the power of combining academic rigor with character development.

My approach is holistic and evidence-based. Whether I’m delivering keynote addresses at international conferences, training teachers across Kenya, developing national curriculum with KICD, or mentoring the next generation of leaders, I believe in equipping individuals with tools that work—strategies grounded in research, refined through experience, and proven to create lasting impact.

This work has led to three published books on parenting and mentorship, numerous peer-reviewed research papers, and opportunities to serve on educational boards and panels shaping Kenya’s future. But beyond the credentials and accolades, my greatest joy comes from seeing educators empowered, parents equipped, and young people stepping into their God-given potential with confidence and purpose.

The Journey: From Classroom to Global Stage

My educational journey began with a Bachelor of Education from the University of Eastern Africa, Baraton in 1992. What started as a calling to teach English soon evolved into a lifelong commitment to understanding how education truly transforms lives.

This pursuit led me through two master’s degrees—Educational Psychology from Kenyatta University (2006), Child Development from Daystar University (2011)—each deepening my understanding of how young people learn, grow, and develop. In 2016, I completed my Doctorate in Educational Administration from the University of Nairobi, focusing on how school leadership impacts student discipline and character formation.

But education didn’t stop there. In 2023 and 2024, I earned certificates in Leadership, Ethics and Corporate Accountability and Leading Change in School Management from Harvard Business School Online. These experiences exposed me to global best practices while reinforcing the incredible strengths of Kenya’s educational system.

Throughout this journey, I’ve served State House Girls High School for nearly three decades—first as an English teacher, then as Head of Department, and now as Senior Teacher and School Chaplain. This continuity has allowed me to build lasting programs that integrate academic excellence with spiritual and character development, creating an educational model that develops the whole person.
